About Me and the Why behind Hear 2 Remember
Hi! I'm Aayush Talreja, a senior at Interlake High School, and I'm passionate about supporting children with hearing loss or disabilities that make it difficult for them to fully absorb information. Having been born with mild to moderate hearing loss, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to hear and understand everything, even with the help of hearing aids. Despite this, I still faced listening fatigue, a common experience for children using hearing aids or cochlear implants, due to the effort required to process sounds in challenging environments.
I started Hear to Remember because I want to help everyone with hearing loss access the resources that helped me. I wanted to provide references to note-taking methods, study strategies, and tools that helped me be more successful with hearing loss.
